In an era in which government’s tentacles reach into every aspect of our lives, the question arises, “Are you unequally yoked to the Democrat Party?” “Unequally yoked” is a widely accepted concept of being in a relationship with a person or persons whose beliefs are drastically different from yours.
The Democrat Party of JFK reduced taxes. President Kennedy’s tax cuts stimulated the free-market and resulted in an economic boom. JFK was pro-trade, pro-freedom and pro-life. The Democrat Party of John F. Kennedy is not the Democrat Party of today.
If you are on the side of Big Government; if you enjoy seeing more of your paycheck going to high level bureaucrats; if you appreciate saddling your children with a tax burden generated by today's politicians; if you are looking forward to having your guns confiscated - then today’s New Mexico Democrat Party is your party.
However, if you prefer living under the freedoms guaranteed under the constitution - life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness - you may want to reconsider your party affiliation.
Job creation and employment are at an all-time high in this country. Today’s stock market continues to break records. And just in time for Christmas, a trade deal with China has been reached, slowing the economic bleeding of American dollars to that country.
If you value the freedoms that are under attack by today’s Democrat Party and are in fear of losing those freedoms, you may realize that you find yourself “Unequally Yoked”.
